SI (Master)

• 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized university or board
• 2nd class master certificate by Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department
• Age limit: 22 years and 28 years

SI (Engine Driver)

• 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized university or board
• 1st class engine driver certificate by Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department
• Age limit: 22 years and 28 years

SI (Workshop)

• Must have a mechanical engineering degree from a recognised university
  OR
• 3 year diploma in mechanical or marine or automobile engineering
• Age limit: 20 years and 25 years

HC (Master)

• 10th pass from a recognized board or equivalent
• Must have serang certificate
• Age limit: 20 years and 25 years

HC (Engine Driver)

• 10th pass from a recognised board or its equivalent
• Must have 2nd class engine driver certificate
• Age limit: 20 years and 25 years

HC (Workshop) – Trade
Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine), Electrician, AC Technician, Electronics, Machanist, Carpenter, Plumber

• Must have passed 10th board or its equivalent.
• Must have industrial training institute diploma in the respective trades.
• Age limit: 20 years and 25 years

CT (Crew)

• 10th pass from a recognized board or its equivalent
• 1 year of work experience in operation of Boat below 265 HP
• Must know how to swim in deep water.
• Age limit: 20 years to 25 years
