UP Anganwadi Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Minimum qualification: Intermediate (12th Pass) or equivalent
Maximum qualification: Postgraduate
Merit will be prepared based on academic qualifications.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 35 Years
Date of Birth as mentioned in High School Certificate will be considered final.
No age relaxation will be provided to any category.

Selection Process
Selection will be done as per Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 dated 17.09.2025. Preference will be given to:
Widows
Divorced Women
Abandoned Women living below the poverty line.
Valid Documents:
Widow – Death Certificate & Family Register
Divorced / Abandoned – Court Order
General Instructions
Only Female candidates are eligible.
Applicant must be a permanent resident of the ward/gram panchayat of the vacancy.
Applications will be accepted only online through upanganwadibharti.in.
Offline applications will be rejected.
Upload photo, signature, and self-attested documents carefully.
Income, caste, and residence certificates must be issued online by SDM/Tehsildar and verifiable via e-District portal.
Two women from the same family cannot be appointed at one Anganwadi Centre.
If selected candidate holds any elected post, she must resign before joining.
